European Defence Fund (EDF)
Teleplan Globe is actively engaged in two pivotal European Defence Fund (EDF) projects, LATACC and SESIOP, with funding from both EDF and The Norwegian Ministry of Defence. The EDF is committed to fostering competitive and collaborative defence initiatives among Member States and Norway, aiming to yield cutting-edge, interoperable defence technologies and equipment. With comprehensive support and guidance provided throughout the research and development cycle, these projects are a testament to our expertise and commitment to enhancing defence system capabilities and interoperability.
The project “LAnd TActical Collaborative Combat” (LATACC) will improve armed forces’ collaborative capabilities from Brigade command post down to combat vehicles, dismounted soldier, and unmanned assets in high intensity conflicts. LATACC enhances legacy systems, develops new technologies and integrates them into a common European framework. Related PESCO project: EU Collaborative Warfare Capabilities (ECoWAR)
SESIOP aims at increasing interoperability of military Air C2 systems and integrating Single European Sky (SES) rules ensuring a seamless evolution towards efficient, secured and safe operations, in planning, tasking and execution phases. The definition of an architectural solution will ensure that data exchange between civil-military and military-military control centres. The outcome of the project will improve the interactions for air traffic across the civilian and defence domains.
